MILWAUKEE

If there’s one thing I won’t stand for, it’s Milwaukee slander.

Last summer, I made my fourth trip to the city for a weekend of family time and boozy fun. Milwaukee is a good time girl and I challenge anybody to go and not have a good time.

What made this trip stand out is we were able to stay at the PBR hotel, the Brewhouse Inn in downtown, which is an updated modern hotel in the original Pabst factory. Sooo historic for the best cheap beer of all time

And one block down from the hotel is the PBR bar, which is in what appears to be a castle.

Another place I can’t recommend enough is St. Paul’s Fish Company, specifically the tiki bar in the back of the Milwaukee Public Market. The pours there would be enough to kill, and I am barely living proof of that.

Unfortunately my enjoyment of Milwaukee was cut short by a violent illness (not booze related! I promise!) so this was all I could experience for this round. Until the next time, where you can bury me in cheese curds.
