RABAT

At the time I made this trip, I had a friend spending a semester in Rabat, Morocco’s capitol, so it made sense to spend the last few days of the excursion taking it easy here. 

In Moroccan trip itineraries, Rabat is usually skipped over. Cities like Marrakech or Fez, or smaller towns like Chefchaouen take up the bulk of bucket list real estate but this city maintains its own charm.

First thing that ~blue~ me away was the blue paint in the medina. I’m also endlessly sorry that I typed that but as a peace offering I’ll just cut this short and end with this: don’t skip out on Rabat.
